Happy Tuesday from Arkansas!
You can find fun facts for kids on the National Geographic Site. We had fun listening to all the State Bird songs while we studied the states, too.
Jaxson did a coloring sheet. You can find basic State coloring pages by Crayola here but we used the cute ones I found here.
The Arkansas state insect is the honeybee!
We had honey straws from Hometown Honey (Kennesaw, GA), tried some Honeycomb cereal, made bees from toilet paper tubes and construction paper, pretended we were bees, and watched the Magic School Bus Beehive episode.
